Cookie Policy

Last updated June 23, 2026

Which cookies helmcode.com uses, and why — strictly necessary plus privacy-respecting analytics, and nothing for advertising.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site work properly, remember preferences and understand, in aggregate, how it is used. This policy explains which cookies helmcode.com uses and why.

How we use cookies

We keep cookies to the minimum: those strictly necessary for the site to work, plus privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These keep the site secure and available and cannot be switched off.

  • Cloudflare — security, bot protection and traffic routing (our CDN). Sets cookies such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance.

Analytics

These help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate. We load them through Google Tag Manager.

  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics: pages visited, time on page, traffic source and device type. Sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id>.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies under their own policies:

  • Calendly — when you book a call, Calendly may set cookies to run the scheduling widget.
  • Google Fonts — fonts are delivered by Google; this involves a request to Google but does not set cookies.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to block them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
